On the afternoon of May 30th, at Muong Thanh Grand Da Nang Hotel, the Ministry of Education & Training, in collaboration with relevant departments and agencies, organized the Send-Off Ceremony for the Vietnamese Student Sports Delegation participating in the 13th ASEAN Schools Games (ASEAN Schools Games 13).
Mr. Nguyen Thanh De, Director of the Physical Education Department - Ministry of Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Games, and Mr. Tran Van Lam, Deputy Director of the Physical Education Department - Ministry of Education and Training, Head of the Vietnamese Student Sports Delegation, attended and delivered the directive speech. The ceremony also saw the presence of representatives from central and local media, and the participating Vietnamese athletes, officials, and coaches.
In his speech at the Send-Off Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh De stated: “The 13th ASEAN Schools Games is the largest event in Southeast Asia, attracting significant attention from the governments and people of ASEAN countries.
Vietnam is honored to host the Games, which holds great significance for the development of education and sports, as well as political, cultural, social, diplomatic, and tourism aspects. It contributes to strengthening the solidarity and mutual understanding between the people of Vietnam and those of ASEAN countries.
The Games also provide an opportunity for student-athletes to interact, learn, and improve their sports skills, showcasing the future sporting talents of ASEAN countries. It is an opportunity to spread the message to schools, families, and the community to join hands in the mission of enhancing the physical fitness and stature of the Vietnamese people.”

Chiều ngày 30/05, tại khách sạn Mường Thanh Grand Đà Nẵng, Bộ Giáo dục & Đào tạo phối hợp cùng Ban, Ngành liên quan tổ chức Lễ xuất quân Đoàn thể thao học sinh Việt Nam tham dự Đại hội Thể thao học sinh Đông Nam Á lần thứ 13 (ASEAN Schools Games 13).
Ông Nguyễn Thanh Đề, Vụ trưởng vụ Giáo dục Thể chất - Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo, Phó trưởng Ban tổ chức Đại hội và ông Trần Văn Lam - Phó Vụ trưởng Vụ Giáo dục Thể chất - Bộ Giáo dục & Đào tạo, Trưởng đoàn thể thao học sinh Việt Nam dự và phát biểu chỉ đạo. Lễ xuất quân còn có sự góp mặt của đại diện các cơ quan truyền thông, báo chí trung ương, địa phương và các VĐV, cán bộ, HLV Đoàn Thể thao Việt Nam tham dự Đại hội.
Phát biểu trong Lễ xuất quân, ông Nguyễn Thanh Đề cho biết: “Đại hội Thể thao học sinh Đông Nam Á lần thứ 13 là sự kiện lớn nhất khu vực Đông Nam Á, được Chính phủ và nhân dân các nước ASEAN rất quan tâm.
Việt Nam vinh dự tổ chức không chỉ có ý nghĩa to lớn đối với sự phát triển giáo dục, thể dục thể thao, mà còn ý nghĩa về chính trị, văn hoá, xã hội, ngoại giao và du lịch; góp phần tăng cường tinh thần đoàn kết hữu nghị, sự hiểu biết lẫn nhau giữa nhân dân Việt Nam với nhân dân các nước trong ASEAN.
Đại hội cũng là cơ hội để các em VĐV - học sinh được giao lưu, học hỏi, nâng cao thành tích chuyên môn của thể thao trường học (những tài năng thể thao của các Quốc gia trong tương lai). Đại hội là cơ hội để lan tỏa thông điệp đến nhà trường, gia đình, cộng đồng xã hội nhằm chung tay vì sứ mệnh nâng cao thể chất, tầm vóc người Việt Nam”
