Up to this point, it can be affirmed that the Southeast Asian Students Sports Games have been successful in the eyes of international friends, regarding the preparation of facilities, the organization of competitions, and more than that, the image of Da Nang city as safe, friendly, gentle, and hospitable.
Mr. Chua Lek Hong, Head of the Singapore Students Sports Delegation, shared: "I am very happy that Da Nang, Vietnam is hosting the 13th ASG. Da Nang is a beautiful city, and during the Games, surely the students and participants will have a wonderful time, fostering strong friendships." Ms. Marivic B. Tolitol, Head of the Philippine Students Sports Delegation, affirmed: "With the preparations made by Da Nang, I am confident this will be a hugely successful Games." As noted by the representative of the Thai Students Sports Delegation, Mr. Yotsapol Saukumolnan: "To successfully organize a Games, it requires not only the Government but also the efforts of many units."
As the host unit, Da Nang has implemented serious, urgent, and thorough organizational and logistical work. Da Nang has upgraded and built sports infrastructure such as stadiums, swimming pools, badminton courts, basketball courts, and training rooms to fully meet the standards and conditions for hosting and organizing the competitions. Security measures have been strictly implemented, including security checks and monitoring. Hospital 199 has arranged medical teams with full personnel, equipment, medicines, and ambulances to serve the Games. Food and beverage businesses near the venues have been asked to temporarily suspend operations to ensure food safety and hygiene.
Organized in the summer - the most beautiful time of the year in the famous tourist city of Vietnam - the Southeast Asian Students Sports Games also attract a large number of domestic, international tourists, and local people to watch and cheer. The 13th Southeast Asian Students Sports Games take place from May 29 to June 9, 2024, with the participation of more than 1,300 athletes and coaches from the sports delegations of 10 countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and host country Vietnam.

Tới thời điểm này có thể khẳng định, Đại hội Thể thao học sinh Đông Nam Á đã thành công trong mắt bạn bè quốc tế, về công tác chuẩn bị cơ sở vật chất, điều hành tổ chức thi đấu và hơn cả là hình ảnh thành phố Đà Nẵng an toàn, thân thiện, hiền hòa, mến khách.
Ông Chua Lek Hong - Trưởng đoàn thể thao học sinh Singapore chia sẻ: "Tôi rất vui khi Đà Nẵng, Việt Nam tổ chức Đại hội ASG 13. Đà Nẵng là một thành phố xinh đẹp, trong thời gian diễn ra Đại hội, chắc chắn các bạn học sinh và những người tham gia sẽ có một khoảng thời gian tuyệt vời, gắn kết tình bạn vững chắc".
Bà Marivic B. Tolitol - Trưởng đoàn thể thao học sinh Phillipines khẳng định: "Với sự chuẩn bị của Đà Nẵng, tôi tự tin đây sẽ là một kỳ Đại hội thành công lớn". Đúng như đại diện của Đoàn thể thao học sinh Thái Lan - ông Yotsapol Saukumolnan nhận định: "Để tổ chức thành công một Đại hội, không chỉ Chính phủ mà cần sự nỗ lực từ nhiều đơn vị".
Với tư cách là đơn vị đăng cai, Đà Nẵng đã triển khai công tác tổ chức, công tác hậu cần nghiêm túc, khẩn trương và chu đáo. Đà Nẵng đã nâng cấp và xây dựng các cơ sở hạ tầng thể thao như sân vận động, bể bơi, sân cầu lông, sân bóng rổ và các phòng tập luyện nhằm đáp ứng đầy đủ tiêu chuẩn và điều kiện để đón tiếp và tổ chức các môn thi đấu; Các biện pháp an ninh được triển khai một cách nghiêm ngặt, bao gồm kiểm soát an ninh, giám sát; bệnh viện 199 bố trí các tổ y tế với đầy đủ nhân lực, phương tiện, thuốc men, trang thiết bị, xe cứu thương để phục vụ cho Đại hội; các hoạt động kinh doanh ăn uống gần các địa điểm cũng được yêu cầu tạm dừng hoạt động để bảo đảm vệ sinh an toàn thực phẩm…
Được tổ chức vào mùa hè - thời điểm đẹp nhất trong năm tại thành phố du lịch nổi tiếng Việt Nam - Đại hội Thể thao học sinh Đông Nam Á đồng thời thu hút đông đảo khách du lịch trong nước, quốc tế và người dân địa phương đón xem và cổ vũ. Đại hội Thể thao học sinh Đông Nam Á lần thứ 13 diễn ra từ ngày 29/5 đến 09/6/2024 với sự tham gia của hơn 1.300 vận động viên, huấn luyện viên từ đoàn thể thao của 10 quốc gia: Brunei, Campuchia, Indonesia, Lào, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thái Lan và chủ nhà Việt Nam.
